St. George Village Botanical Gardens
Location: Mid-Island
An
interesting blend of history and flora and
fauna, the Gardens are built upon 17 acres
of a pre-Columbus era Indian settlement and
the ruins of an 1800s sugar plantation. A
cactus garden, a rain forest walk, and
majestic mahogany trees surround acres of
tropical foliage. A working nursery and gift
shop complete the area. The main hall is a
popular site for wedding receptions.
