Located on the East End Road at the site of the old Solitude Store, Chicken Charlie’s Roadhouse, in a short time, has become known for some of St. Croix’s best casual food and drink.

The bar and dining is on a spacious outdoor covered patio with a great view to Buck Island. The barbecued ribs and chicken are Succulent! Then, so is everything else. The founder, Chicken Charlie, himself, is a St. Croix treasure who migrated from Wisconsin over 20 years ago to cook chicken and ribs on a makeshift barbecue constructed from a split 55 gallon drum at Rainbow Beach.

There is regularly scheduled musical entertainment spanning many genres. An entertainment schedule will be posted soon. Chicken Charlie’s is easy to find. Just head out of Christiansted east past the Buccaneer Hotel and a couple of minutes past Carden Beach and Coakley Bay Condominiums. You won’t miss it on the left. There’s plenty of parking right next to the roadhouse.
